A new home for thousands of animals in Austin opened Wednesday morning. The Austin Pets Alive Shelter will help Austin achieve it's no-kill status. The Austin Pets Alive! BLADES — Fire officials say two pets died in a house fire in Blades. Three other pets were rescued.
The Oakland Pet Adoption Center in Auburn Hills has established five outreach centers to help find homes for homeless pets. The outreach centers are the Cat Practice in Birmingham, Advance PetCare of Oakland in Clarkston, Pet Supplies "Plus" stores in Bloomfield Hills and White Lake Township and Allen Animal Hospital in Livonia.
